WDL IN THE NEWS

  • September saw Cy Coleman’s dark but lively musical THE LIFE. Tina Sheing directed, with musical direction from Matt Casarino.
  • In October – November, the hilarious romantic comedy BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, directed by Wayne Meadows, had us rolling in the aisles.
  • THE WIZARD OF OZ took the stage in December! Kathy Buterbaugh directed this beloved family musical.
  • Another musical kicks off the new year as Chris Turner directs Jason Robert Brown’s PARADE in January/February. Steven Weatherman music directs.
  • March brings Steve Martin’s whimsical comedy PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE, directed by Jean Eggen.
  • In April, The Chrysalis Players present the powerful play AND A CHILD SHALL LEAD, directed by Marge Ventura.
  • In May, Henry Porreca directs the hilarious musical comedy THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS.
  • The Chrysalis Players will close things up in June with the classic musical comedy BYE BYE BIRDIE, directed by Tina Sheing.
And that’s not all! As always, you can expect a fantastic One-Act Festival in February and lots of activities, events, and surprises throughout the season. Be sure to join us for another amazing season at the Drama League – and stay tuned for announcements about season subscriptions!
